I want my paintings to remind you that beauty often resides in the tiniest corner and in the simplest of circumstances.  I want you to experience a moment of wonder that so simple an object as a pudding cup, a bird's nest, or an old tabletop covered with green apples and grapes can be beautiful.  I think there is loveliness in the most ordinary of things.  To actually see what you are looking at; to try and capture the wetness of an eye; the distortion in a glass; the deeply reflective quality of brass; its just the most wonderful way to see the world.
