Pamela Grumbach is a painter
of light and of landscape scenes that are too quickly disappearing
from our communities. She is an award winner and signature member of
Northeast Watercolor Society and she exhibits her work in a number
of galleries and exhibitions in coastal Maine where she spends her
summers. She has been in numerous one person and juried group exhibitions
in the Philadelphia area including the Philadelphia Sketch Club, Phillips
Mill, the Coryell Gallery, and the Baltimore Watercolor Society. Other
venues include several exhibitions with the Point of View Painters,
Art at Friends and frequent exhibitions of her work in smaller venues
such as the Walton Center Gallery at George School in Newtown where
she is an instructor of Painting and Drawing.
Pamela did her undergraduate work at the Unversity of Maryland and has
since studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and with prominent
regional artists. She has recently been awarded fellowships at Skidmore
College and at the Art Institute of Chicago. Pamela's work is in numerous
collections up and down the East Coast and she has had work selected
by the United States Department of State for use in government offices
around the world.
