Fred Place is a life long resident of Doylestown. Fred graduated from Central Bucks High School in 1959 followed by four years in the Marine Corps. He attended LaSalle University and graduated with a degree in Accounting. Fred became a CPA and has practiced in the area all of his life.

Fred works in watercolor and chooses a limited palette of nine colors. Landscapes of all types are his pleasure. He has a keen interest in local scenes and wishes to build a portfolio of old buildings, farms and meadows.
