As a painter, I want to create images that are pleasing to the eye, capture the viewers' attention and elicit emotional responses. My paintings are all subject to intuition, interpretation and personal preferences as it is important for me to capture my feelings in each piece of work. The key elements I stress in my paintings are detail along with rich color and texture to symbolize a feeling of energy and motion. Nothing is more gratifying to me than seeing hours of painting come to a satisfactory completion.

My first attempts at painting were self-taught and as I became more serious, I started studying painting and drawing with Dyan Law.

"Admiring the Tree" was chosen by BARC as their 2004 Holiday Card.

I am also a woodcarver and a juried member of the Bucks County and Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen.
