Arthur Ritter’s impressionistic oil paintings and pen and ink works reflect the landscapes within the immediate vicinity of his studio
and home on Stagecoach Road
in Erwinna, Bucks County, PA. His work is in private collections in New York City, Bucks County, Westfield and Bridgewater NJ.
In 1968 he founded the graphic design firm Ritter and Ritter, Inc. in New York City, serving as president and creative director. The firm won numerous national and international awards from a broad range of industry organizations such as the New York Art Directors Club, The American Institute of Graphic Arts, The Metropolitan Art Directors Club of Washington DC,
The Printing Industries of America, and others.
He is a life member of the
New York Art Directors Club, a member of the NY Illustrators Club, and serves on the board of directors and on the art committee of
The Phillips’ Mill Community Association in New Hope, PA.
